Appauling Service - Don't Listen to your insurer if they suggest these *******

Reading the complaints on this page, I’m honestly not even remotely surprised. I’ve had the exact same nightmare experience. I cancelled my insurance with one month’s notice – zero issues there. On the same day I submitted my cancellation to OutSurance, I emailed Mix Telematics / Matrix / Beame – whichever name they feel like trading under this week – to cancel the tracking as well. Radio silence. After a solid month of ignored calls and unanswered emails, someone finally bothered to respond, only to tell me that if I want to cancel, I need to pay a “settlement amount” but on the invoice it states that this amount is for “hardware”. I do not want your hardware in my car. You are welcome to remove it at any time. The fact that you’re holding me financially hostage over a device I don’t want, for a service I don’t use, is absurd. I do not recall signing any long-term contract, and not a single person has responded to my repeated requests to produce the supposedly “signed” documentation. That says everything I need to know about how you operate. In the meantime, you continue to debit my account every month for a service I neither want nor need. And to OutSurance: you don’t get to wash your hands of this. It was your consultant who recommended this circus in the first place. Whoever is being incentivized to push this tracking provider onto your customers should be held accountable. I will cancel and reverse every debit order that you process on my account until this utter nonsense stops!
