WHY ON EARTH DID I BUY A VEHICLE FROM MIT MAK MOTORS ????????????????? WHAT AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM MIT MAK MOTORS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sadly I had bought a vehicle in good faith from Mit Mak Motors.

WORST MISTAKE EVER

I bought a 2007 Mercedes Benz C220 CDI form Mit Mak Motors with only 106 000 km on the clock as had been advertised, on the 7th February 2022. I sat there, without a car and was FORCED to buy the extended warranty for the car as well, otherwise they won`t allow me to drive away with the vehicle.

(Interesting enough the gentleman from the Consumer Protection Commission laughed when he heard that I actually had been forced to buy the extended warranty - or they won`t allow me to drive away with my car - he said that they aren`t allowed to do that AT ALL)

I bought the car at a PREMIUM price, more than what is acceptable for market related prices, as I had been ASSURED by the salesman, that the car is in immaculate condition.

When I arrived to finalize the transaction the Manager suddenly pushed up the price by R20 000, then I said to the salesman that he had reserved the car for me at another agreed price as had been advertised, which I didn`t even negotiate. After a lot of unnecessary stress I got the car at the price the salesman reserved it at for me. This is all after they had known I don`t have a vehicle anymore, I took an Uber to Mit Mak Motors to get the vehicle.

I had also been forced by the Manager of that specific branch to buy an extended warranty for the car otherwise they won`t let me drive away with the car (I actually have a voice note as evidence from the sales manager). I have been victimized through this entire process of buying a supposed high quality vehicle at a PREMIUM PRICE in a supposed immaculate condition from MIT MAK MOTORS.

The salesman said that I would have a good loan vehicle available IF THEY FELT THAT I`M A GOOD CLIENT and not being difficult and only then.

Not to mention the fact that the vehicle is now underinsured due to the OVERINFLATED purchase price.

Immediately after I had bought the vehicle (CASH) the salesman HOUNDED me for a POSITIVE Hello Peter rating, I actually have the voice notes that he sent, stating that his CEO requires it. HOW ON EARTH COULD I GIVE A POSITIVE RATING IMMEDIATELY AFTER BUYING A VEHICLE CASH FROM MIT MAK MOTORS ???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since I have bought the car it has been in for repairs 3 times. And it still isn`t fixed as it should have been. It has cost me thousands of Rands additional in fuel due to the vehicle having excessive fuel consumption. When they brought me a loan vehicle to drive with (NUMEROUS TIMES) it looked like a wreck, or the headlights didn`t work, or it has seen MUCH better days, every single time it cost me my day`s entire arrangements and every time I had to complain about the state of the loan vehicles. WHY ?????????????? My cash was good when I bought the vehicle from MIT MAK MOTORS.

I have been victimized through the purchase of the vehicle by Mit Mak Motors. When the vehicle gave issues their response was they don`t know when it would be able to go in for repairs, the workshop is busy !!!!!!!!!????????????????????????

The vehicle then went to another RMI approved workshop, since it has been costing THOUSANDS additional in diesel, only after they had approved the workshop to work on it.

Afterwards there has been even MORE issues. 3 TIMES to the workshop for repairs !!!???

Now there are even more issues with the vehicle YET AGAIN. And the 6 month CPA period is drawing to an end, quickly. And the repairs they should have completed wasn`t completed 100%. They actually missed a lot of it.

I AM FUMING. I HAD TO STAND UP AND WALK OUT OF A BUSINESS MEETING TO CALL THE WORKSHOP MANAGER (WHO APOLOGISED THAT HE HAD UPSET ME) BACK BECAUSE THEY WANT TO SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO NOW, AFTER I TOLD THE GENERAL MANAGER THAT I WANT MY MONEY BACK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I DIDN`T BUY A PROJECT TO WORK ON. I HAD BOUGHT A CAR THAT WAS SUPPOSEDLY IN AN IMMACULATE CONDITION ACCORDING TO THE SALESMAN AND SALES TEAM AT A PREMIUM PRICE.

Marc, the General Manager has been dealing with me since the end of last week, and just this morning I have spoken to him again CLEARLY stating that I am not interested in this vehicle anymore AT ALL. I WANT MY HARD EARNED MONEY BACK, ALL OF IT. I DIDN`T BUY A REPAIR PROJECT.

I said to Marc, the General Manager of Mit Mak Motors that I don`t want the vehicle and that I wan`t my hard earned cash back. Every single time they want to see what they "can do", and I should "give them a chance".

I DIDN `T PAY GOOD MONEY FOR A PROJECT TO WORK ON.

I WANT ALL OF MY MONEY BACK.

BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN BUYING ANYTHING FROM MIT MAK MOTORS.
