Miserable service due to empty promises and delivery of a vehicle without roadworthy certificate

Vehicle delivered without agreed and paid tow-bar, annual service, without a roadworthy certificate, and remain unlicensed due to dismal service.

They were considered, Mit Mak motors, to trade up my vehicle after a pleasant experience within my family. Found a car of interest and discussed the trade and purchase with Given from the branch. The deal was concluded because the vehicle had an FSH, and a tow bar had to be fitted. The first stumbling block was when the dealership was unwilling to remove the extended warranty at an extra cost. The reluctant conformance to the request ended in having to sign a waiver of responsibility for any faults on the vehicle; interestingly, the extended warranty that the purchaser pays for creates a significant response from the seller; could the warrantee restrict risk to them? After the agreement on the warrantee, I was informed that the tow bar could not be completed before delivery, irrespective of the payment completion. The vehicle will be collected within a week, fitment completed with license, registration, and number plates, and returned within several days. When the date for collection arrived, and the collection was a no show, the follow-up call indicated that they neglected/forgot the collection and that the possible fitment date would now only be several weeks later. We were requested to find a local alternative for fitment, and reimbur*****t will be done based on the invoice. This was also almost three weeks after the purchase, and a request for the license was also found with further complications. I was informed that the registration cannot be done in another town within the Gauteng province and had to take the registration documents to my local licensing department for processing. For context, this was two days before leaving on a planned holiday. During the payment of licensing and registration, it was interesting that it was never disclosed, in addition to my relatives' purchase, that they completed the entire process and issued all docs within two weeks from delivery. Due to the delay, they offered, with an additional payment, to give a temporary license that the vehicle remains legal to drive to allow time for the process to be completed. I have meanwhile understood that the temporary secondary license is not legally allowed. Irrespective, the licensing was handled ourselves, but to our surprise, we were to pay the penalty and were not allowed to license the vehicle as the vehicle does not have a roadworthy certificate. Now we are again engaging with the dealership to resolve a deal that, on all conditions, has not met any of the initial expectations, and additional risk due to pending roadworthy, still no confirmation of the annual service completion, no tow bar, and miserable customers. The dealership's response has always been apologetic and full of promises but without rectification. I have passed sales representatives to dealership managers but not Given, Brigitte, Francios, and Gerhard van den Heever could find any means to address and avoid messages and telephone calls.

I genuinely hope that this uncharacteristic plea for minimum expected service follows after this review.
