Letter Of Complaint

Mit-Mak Motors pride themselves of the pledge which was sent to me. “We are committed to you, our client, and our three core values namely Quality, Reliability and Peace of mind. The vehicle that you inquired about might not be ready for collection now, but you have our Guarantee that it will be , without a doubt, in the condition that you deserve.” This pledge was not adhered to, and therefor because they rely on their pledge they can lie to their customers?

On Monday the 3 January 2022, I saw a 2009 Mercedes E350 being advertised. I contacted Mit-Mak Motors and spoke to the salesmen and agreed with enthusiasm to purchase the vehicle.

A holding deposit was requested, for the amount of R5000.00 which I Paid for on Tuesday 4th January 2022.

The salesman did notify me that the vehicle in question needed to go in for a service and a few minor repairs before the release of the vehicle. The vehicle would however be ready on the Friday the 7th January 2022. Once at mechanic there was a delay due to parts availability.

On that Friday the salesman stated that a 2nd deposit of R5000 was need for the holding of the car. This was originally not discussed with me, then the salesman waivered the 2nd holding deposit telephonically but ensured the vehicle would be kept for me.

On Monday the 10th they asked for all my details, which I send through and Mit-Mak Motors informed me the car would be released on Tuesday the 11th January 2022.

Unfortunately, later that afternoon, they surprised me that the car is sold. This is ********* as I paid the 1st holding deposit, then I was informed every step of the way regarding the services and paperwork. Not once was there any mention that there was a 2nd buyer interested. I have done nothing but been accommodating with all their requests and their hiccups.

I truly feel that Mit-Mak Motors have bad business ethics as the vehicle was promised to me. I also am not impressed with the way they handled themselves through this transaction.

Due to my experience, I feel that Mit-Mak Motors is unreliable and would definitely not recommend there services to anyone in the future.
