Dishonest business. Trying to take advantage of seemingly inexperienced buyers.

It is with heavy disappointment that I must write this message about Mit Mak Motors. In the beginning of the year, I approached Mit Mak Motors in good faith with a willing heart to buy my new wheels. I had a 2019 Nissan Micra New with about 30000 Km on the ODO meter. I was interested in buying a Tiguan 2015. The consultant Wayne that assisted me received the award for salesman of the year in 2019. I was very excited. I arranged with them to send out an inspector to evaluate my practically brand new Micra. He came to my place of work to assess the Vehicle. He made a huge effort to point out lots of “imperfections” on the paint. He used his phone to take pictures of small dots and flecks that you could not see with the naked eye and that I could wipe out with a finger after the fact. He specified that he must make a call to his manager before they could offer me a price. Later that evening Wayne gave me a phone call and offered to settle my account at the bank on the Micra and then I had to pay full price for the Tiguan. I told him that I gave a R55000 deposit on the Micra and thus the R130 000 I owed on the Micra was far less than the worth of the car. He went on to explain that I have to take into account that I would still have to settle the interest on the capital amount at the bank. I was quite flabbergasted at this remark as I have never experienced that a settling of the capital amount included interest. I then knew that dishonesty was afoot and decided to take my business elsewhere. I went on to purchase a vehicle from Nissan directly and received the full R 200 000 that the Micra was worth. This is just very disconcerting as I was initially suggested to go onto Hello Peter and see all the good reviews that was written about Mit Mak Motors. The salesman who suggested this to me is the same person who is doing business dishonestly, and trying to take advantage from a younger person, how many other people could they not also have dealt with dishonestly? I hope that this review helps people make better decisions when doing business with Mit Mak Motors and, I sincerely hope that this helps Mit Mak Motors to start thinking about their customers and not only their pockets.
