Check if you can render a service before making promises

I read good things about Mind the Speed but they cannot seem to deliver. First, they promised me a test account but were unable to deliver this owing to technical issues. They should not have made such a promise before checking if it was technically possible.

I was also told they could provide me with a fibre service where I stay because Openserve is in this area and they work with Openserve. They do not work with Link Africa, with whom I have a line, even though Link Africa belongs to Metro Fibre, with whom Mind The Speed works.

I accepted all these unusual limitations and told Mind The Speed today I was ready to move over to them at the end of July. Suddenly they do not deal with Openserve in my area and cannot even pick up Openserve in my area. Openserve is everywhere in this area. They offered to contact Openserve and make me wait seven to fourteen working days to see if they could get Openserve to work with them in this area. That is ridiculous. So, they might only tell me at the end of the month that they cannot provide me with fibre, leaving me stranged. All of this is pre-sales.

Come on, never mind the speed, mind the technical details. Do not waste people's time with promises and information that later turns out to be completely wrong to the point where you cannot actually supply someone with a fibre service. I am not impressed.

Hi Eugene, apologies for the inconvenience. Openserve does not offer an integrated feasible checker so we have rely on them to confirm feasible if not 100% sure and this process is slow on there side.
