SELLS VEHICLES WITH UNDISCLOSED ACCIDENT HISTORY

1. Took delivery of vehicle in August 2014.
2. 22 November 2014 I found out that vehicle was involved in major accident with damage in excess of R120,000.00.
3. Obtained a second report from TransUnion SA confirming the accident history of the vehicle.
4. 24 November 2014 met with the Sales Manager of Pre-Owned Vehicles, Mr Hassan Halday, who denied the accident history.
5. I contacted the Dealer Principal, Mr Tommie Hamman, met with Mr Hamman and Mr Halday. Present was also a representative from RMI - who was clearly biased in favour of the dealership.
6. No progress was made despite a Letter of Demand been sent, invoking section 56(2) of the CPA.
7. Constant unreasonable delays, excuses of managers been on leave and further meetings were held in my absence.
8. Thereafter, Mr Hamman sent forms to be completed wanting me to sign to agree to pay Nissan Milnerton to return the vehicle and I will be refunded my money paid after their deductions are taken off of that amount.
9. Being in the legal profession, I have issued Summons against them.
10. Pathetic service from a supposedly reputable dealership.
11. Strongly advise against doing any business with this Milnerton Nissan.
