AI Review Summary

Based on recent customer reviews, Milnerton Nissan earns praise at the point of sale, with consultants such as Monsurio Mallum, Bashir Anthony and service advisor Mujaid described as honest, informative and willing to go the extra mile. However, the overwhelming feedback concerns aftersales. Customers report vehicles held for weeks or months, unapproved warranty claims, unsigned service books, registration and permit delays, disputed vehicle history and tyre defects. The most repeated complaint is silence: unanswered calls, emails and WhatsApps, including from management and the dealer principal, forcing owners to chase updates themselves.

I am yet to receive feedback regarding my service booklet. It's more than a month later.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with the Nissan - Milnerton branch. On Thursday, 17 September, I contacted the branch to schedule a service booking and received confirmation that my vehicle was booked for Saturday, 19 September. I made the necessary arrangements, dropped my vehicle off as scheduled and expected the service to proceed as confirmed. However, approximately an hour after dropping off my vehicle, I received a call from the person assisting me advising that the service provider's offices were closed and they were therefore unable to obtain the required authorization to proceed with the service. My concern is: should this not have been checked and confirmed before my booking was confirmed for a specific date? Especially considering that I have been servicing my vehicle at the same branch, using the same service providers, on Saturdays for more than 3 years? I contacted the Service Manager and made him aware of the situation. He assured me that arrangements would be made for my vehicle to be collected from my workplace and returned once the service had been completed. I had specifically explained that this was important as I would be travelling and the mileage on my vehicle would exceed the recommended service interval if the service was delayed. Unfortunately, on Monday morning and throughout the afternoon, I received no communication from the dealership regarding the collection of my vehicle. I had to contact the dealership more than 5 times to try and get an update and arrange the necessary. I was only assisted after 3pm, when I eventually managed to make a new service booking and arrange for someone to collect me from the dealership and drop me off at work (in Brackenfell). The vehicle was eventually booked in for Tuesday, 22 September. Upon completion of the service, I signed all the necessary paperwork and was asked to complete a service consultant rating sheet. Based on the service provided at that point, I gave a rating of 5. I was also assured that my service booklet had been completed and stamped. As this had been missed previously at the same dealership, I made a point of checking before leaving. When I got into my vehicle, I noticed that the service booklet was nowhere to be found and went back to ask the consultant about it. I then waited approximately 15–30 minutes, only to be informed that my service booklet had been misplaced and that they would arrange for a new one to be completed and signed and sent to me. While I appreciate that mistakes can happen, this was yet another issue that I had to identify and follow up on myself. After everything that had already happened with the service booking, it was extremely disappointing to experience another avoidable oversight. Having experience in Customer Service myself, I understand the pressures that come with ensuring that things are done efficiently and within deadlines. With that in mind, I would like to offer a constructive recommendation: perhaps incorporating a Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) approach into the service booking and handover process could help prevent some of these issues. A simple final quality-control check before confirming bookings, completing services and handing vehicles back to customers could potentially identify oversights such as authorisations, bookings, documentation and service booklets before the customer is affected. I am not someone who normally posts rants or publicly highlights poor service, but this experience has genuinely been very frustrating. The individual issues may seem small on their own, but when they occur repeatedly throughout one service experience, they become increasingly inconvenient for the customer. I am sharing this feedback in the hope that it can be used constructively to improve the overall customer experience and prevent other customers from having a similar experience.

Disappointed

Once again Milnerton Nissan has shown that they just don't give a s@#$ about anyone, you share other people's drive way and you can't even drive on the right side, then you still want to give me a dirty look, you people need to learn some manners and learn the rules of the road and just plain common sense or does it make you feel cool and better than everyone else. Whoever from Nissan Milnerton reads this, make sure to bring it to your bosses attention and sorted this out, we live here and just ask for things to be done right and to stick to the rules of the road as a car company this should be No.1 rule, Pringle road is a busy road and there are 4 busses that share this parking to.

Sick of Nissan Milnerton

I've come across a lot of inconsiderate people in my life, but the works/drivers of Milnerton Nissan take the cake, they drive and park like they own the world, not even caring a bit about the people living in the place were they park there cars at De Grendal High School, they park and drive like s...... And just don't care and if this is how your works are when not at the office, I feel so sorry for the customers you have, a car company with workers that can't park, don't care about anyone and think there little Suzukies are racing cars, cutting corners at stops streets not even stopping, driving the wrong side of the road, parking in drive ways. So sad that you make people believe something you are not . Bad just bad

Deceptive dealership: Rusted chassis, hidden history, and wrong mileage

The sales process at Milnerton Nissan was incredibly fast when they wanted my money, but their aftercare is non-existent, sales lady ignoring my disappointment and never apologized for the mistakes. Shortly after buying, I discovered the Fortuner's chassis is rusted all over. When I complained, the manager promised to fix it, but they just did a rushed job and did a half decent job missing parts of the chassis. To make matters worse, they completely hid the vehicle's history. They never disclosed that this car came from Namibia, and judging by the leftover stickers inside, it was likely an abused fleet vehicle. On top of that, the car was delivered with almost 2,000 km more on the odometer than what was advertised. Milnerton Nissan used deceptive tactics, hid major defects. Do not trust them with your money.

NISSAN MILNERTON - SO BAD -

Pathetic Customer Service With Poor Service Knowledge. Car was booked in at short notice for an engine fault. They helped me at short notice. The disaster starts here and still continues with zero feedback as of this morning. After the car was servicedand the engine fault investigated with some history as to when it came on, I was told that the fuel injector showed and error as I was possibly running the fuel tank to low and there was fuel starvation . Noted that in the 3 days that it was there , I had zero customer feedback, I had to phone everyday for an update. I collect to car and off I go. 4 days later the issue repeats and the car limps into a Shell Garage who kindly lets me park overnight. Wonder what would have happened on the N2 - THANKS NISSAN. Car is eventually driven back the next morning. The same pattern unfolds , no feedback for the entire week, and no-once can tell me what is a happening. I call each day and eventually get hold of the dealer principal who passes me back to the very department that has failed me. I am told that there are a host of problems. Wow! Amazing how you diagnose second time around. But I am told that they are now waiting on Nissan South Africa for parts. We agree that I also need and aftermarket solution. I ask to be emailed of the costs while I am out of county for business....... well well ....... another few days of nothing and we are now close on two week since the car went in for the second time. Service chap reaches out with a Whatsapp that says "Hi" at 7pm at night. I reply the next morning. Nothing further. What does a peson have to do to get a clear line of communication. Either the dealership is clueless or has no support from Nissan SA. But for goodness sake talk to me. I loved my Nissan ..... the dealership service has been so poor and has soured my impression. How do big brands expect to retain customer loyalty with such **** treatment, Boggles the mind.

No feedback from Service Department

Service Department doesn't bother to respond to messages left for them. Vehicle has been with them since 14 May and they don't bother responding with an update. They just say we will check what is going on and call you back, they don't call back. I have been calling them numerous times a day for the last week and they don't respond
