Paint peeling off - the pursuit of profit outweighs honesty in car sales - my worst experience.

When we viewed a car to be purchased I had the suspicion that it might have been re-sprayed. The Sales personal however indicated that this is a clear protective layer protecting the paint of the car. As I'm not a paint specialist I believed what they said and proceed with buying the car. While I had the car, I noticed more and more paint errors and sent them a photo of paint peeling off. This was then escalated to management who indicated that this is a VPS clear layer film. As I did not know much about VPS clear layer film I took it to a VPS agent. The VPS agent then looked into it and performed tests on the paint. They confirmed that the car had not a protective plastic cover layer, instead they found multi layer paints and even putty. My initial concern I had was confirmed which Milnerton Nissan fully ignored. The external test results were communicated to Milnerton Nissan management but they again fully ignored the facts and any communication. Their refusal to acknowledge the truth is alarming.

What they said about the paint was not true at all, first it was a “clear protective layer”, then it was a “water pocket” then it was a "VPS clear layer film". According to an external test the realty showed that the car was resprayed with putty underneath, paint peeling off and with the danger that the putty can crack. It is shocking to see that they make false statements when selling a car without ensuring what they are saying is true.

To get a sales deal it is more important for them to make false statements or claims they did not verify instead of ensuring the facts and telling the truth.

When I confronted them with the facts they completely ignored me as a client. Once they have your money they ignore you - it's over, they do not get back to you.

Their actions reflect shocking ethical lapses, marked by unprofessionalism and dishonesty. Their utter lack of integrity has made this the most regrettable experience imaginable.
