Nissan Milnerton was not TruthFul and also changed the Odometer number (You should be ashamed Nissan Milnerton)

I Lynette and Jason Govender would appreciate it with a request of a meeting with you with regards to the Chevy 1,4 utility bakkie.

It of great concern that the umber of issues mechanically and externally.

We picked up the van on the 31ST of March the afternoon. I came down to school on Union Rd and when I was done at school and wanted to go home the bakkie wont start. I phoned Nissan and Ian send down a guy to boost the battery so van would start and we left to go home. Just has we got around the corner of my house on Pringle Road the van made a big noise and it just switched off. My sister came with her car to start the van and it wont start. We ended up pushing the van to our house and into our driveway.

At 8am on Saturday my husband and I was at Nissan we spoke with Naqeeb and Ian. Ian told my husband to bring the van on Monday morning. ON the Saturday my mechanic came to have look and see what is wrong wit the van and why it wont start. The alternator was broken and the cambelt, So i replaced both of it and the mechanic lend us his battery so my husband could bring the van to Nissan on Monday the 3 of April. Ian so my hubby and he said about 3 days time he will call. On the Thursday 6 of April Ian called me just after 4pm to tell me the cost of links and Nissan wont be able to fix it but will be able to put in a new battery so the battery is ordered so next Tuesday we will be able to get the van, he also said we must take the van for a second opinion and must send that to Ian. Then it was the Easter weekend. On the Thursday 13th of April I called Ian on many times in the to find out if the van is ready. AT 15.15 i called Ian again and he said the van is ready my hubby can collect it.

My hubby came there on Friday morning for the van 14th April to fetch the van at that time a battery was taken from another car and put into the van.

My mechanic came on Friday afternoon to pick up the vehicle to give us a quote on the links. What he found was was wrong with van is attached. So we have not even driven this van at all.

For what we paid for and what we got is quite not acceptable.

On the website Nissan should say specified and this is the problem with the vehicle buy as it. Not when we get the paperwork it say that. I also checked with Naqeeb on that afternoon the 31 of March when i picked up the van are you sure there's nothing wrong with the engine . He said no.

You will also check on my mechanic list the odometer reading is not the same on the paperwork we got for the van. ALso not the same as what we took out when we came to view the van. If that was the odometer 250213 we would have not bought this bakkie. the first thing my hubby asked when i showed him the van he asked my what is the odometer reading.

I do not have the money to fix this bakkie. My uncle so kindly paid for this bakkie for us because my hubby so urgently needs a vehicle for work. He is going to loose his job if he cant get work.

I have already contacted the motor industry ombudtman and she told I must email the dealer first because we would be able to sort it out at the dealer.

I have my options

We can swop for a another vehicle to the same pricing R89500 Nissan to fix the bakkie If not any of this then we asking if the money can be paid back to the purchaser and when we have enough money to buy another vehicle we will coem into buy. Honestly we dont have that kind of money to fix this bakkie. As I said my ucle paid R90500 to Nissan.

At the moment the van is at my mechanic i will bring it to Nissan once i hear from you.

Thank you so much

Lynette and Jason

Good day Lynette

I have pulled your file to review.

The vehicle you purchased was one of our specific condition auction units. These cars are sold off as s**** units without any warranty or guarantees.

Both the Salesman and Sales Manager clearly explained the conditions under which the these cars are sold. This is particularly evident by virtue of your signature on all the documentation presented to you.

In light of the above we are unable entertain your requests as per your email below.

Kind Regards
