Milnerton Nissan needs serious help
Worst experience of my life So where do i start, i saw a car advertised on Auto trader, Milnerton Nissan Advertised the car. I phoned enquired about the car.. long story short, loved the car and bought it cash. So here my horrible journey started with with this dealership. I informed them 4 days before fetching the car that i will be driving 751km to fetch the car. Im so excited and just want to clear out that the car will be ready around 14:30 Friday 28th of March 2025. When my daughter and myself rocked up at the dealership the car was not nearly ready, the service has not been done as promised..the car (2018 VW Beetle 1.4 TSI DHS excecutive sport) was still in the body shop as there was something wrong with the sunroof, so ok atleast the dealership sorted that out. Then car was pulled up so we can have a look at it.. then i picked up 2 tyres had bubbles on.. i asked the salesman Sam how is this possible.. was the car not checked?.. i cant buy this car with tyres thats no good as i have to drive back 751km home, and im not driving with these tyres..sorry. ok so then i was told that they will organise 2 new tyres.. ok then..payment time..by then i was informed already that i wont be able to get the car on Friday but first thing Saterday we can fetch the car.. i should of walked away- all the red lights was on but everybody was friendly and assuring.. then payment time late Friday afternoon.. p.s if the money is not cleared sorry u cant get the car..i assured them that i will pay and clear, so when we fetch the car the following morning by 10 there wont be an issue. Ok so off we went.. Saterday morning was a story..sat at dealership from 10:20 till 14:13, waiting for them to finish the car..eventually car was handed over, first thing first...no spare key..no service books..no papers nothing..reason??? "So sorry Mrs van Rooyen as the person holding the safe keys is weekend off..but rest assured Monday morning first thing we will courier all to you, promise" i was a bit upset as im driving off with no spare key..no papers etc..but rest assured the car has paper plate valid for 21 days..ok i get that..but i really just want everything so i can put the car on my name and get it all over with...now here we are today..14th April 2025 no spare key..no books..no paperwork..why? Nantes of car seems to be a problem. Ok wait stop the bus..you never told me that there was a problem with the papers of the car did you?? No!!! You promised me delivery of papers and spare key and books. So here is my problem. When you as a dealership render a service to a client and you make promises that you cant hold up to then i suggest you dont make those promises. See this is a tiny problem that now becomes a huge problem. As i am suposse to travel to Sasolburg for easter..but the papers expires the day before easter. So still dont have my papers...and we have 3 days to go before easter weekend. I am very unhappy.. ive sent numerious messages to the sales person.. and i even phoned the principle of the dealership.. he then told me some other guy will phone me back.. i was then told im rude for complaining about the above matter, my phone call is recorded and they dont see my issue as a problem..I can drive around with the "paper plate" i told him to me it is a issue cause i was never informed about any issues with car papers prior paying them R420 000 i was just promised a courier service to deliver everythig wich still has not happened, and then he just bluntly cut the phone in my ear. I have.phoned Nissan South Africa...according to them the dealership claims that im not unhappy..and that the problem is getting attention...im sorry this is not good enough..this whole sale from start to end has been a disaster. 1. Car not ready when i arrived 2. Car not serviced when i arrived 3. 2 x wheels not good to drive on open road 3. Spending 2 days at dealership waiting for car to be finished. After i was assured car will be ready on arrival the Friday 28 March 2025 by 14:30 4. No spare keys or papers or service books.. they promised delivery within a couple of days. Ive bought a lot off cars in my life. I am not a child, this has veen the worse experience of my life, seriously. And the way all this has gone down..is not appreciated, and also very very unprofessional. I am not a person to complain or be unreasonable. I also have my own business and i know things can go wrong from time to time.. but overall this has been the worse experience ive ever had with a dealership from start to end. By the way..no end in near future..by the looks i will have to cancell my easter weekend trip as i cant drive with a car that dont have valid paper plates.!! As the biggest Nissan dealer in the Western Cape you would think the service will be good. But from my personal experience with them....1* is over rated already-sorry.
