Awful Nissan Milnerton
In July of 2017 I bought an Infiniti Q50 from Nissan Milnerton based on an ad in several sites. My purchase was based on the low mileage, navigation system listed and date of registration discussed with the salesman. Not only were these lies, but to make matters worse, Nissan Milnerton under the leadership of Leon Diedrichs requested a settlement figure from mFC despite the one I had requested not having expired. Since my debit order had gone through, the settlement figure was lower. They obviously settled for the lower figure and had planned to pocket the difference . It took 23 days for them To eventually refund me despite claiming they would every week At some point they offered to exchange my vehicle because of the lies and then out of the blue changed their mind and then **** to the Ombudsman claiming that I had refused the offer which was a bald lie Also, I noticed that they had charged me R7000 on the road fees (R3500 was for delivery from Cape Town TK Johannesburg) in addition to R1200 license and registration. I discovered at a roadblock that my disc was about to expire (an SAP cop warned me). This was a shock as I expected this to expire at the end of June. I then decided to query all the fees they charged me and understand the breakdown. So far, other than R150 for petrol (the yellow light indicating I was out of petrol was on when I collected the car including at least 2 flat Tyres one of which failed and required repairs) as well as R3500 for delivery. The rest is a mystery. I was also charged R1200 for license and registration and discovered when I went to the Post office that I couldn’t renew my disc as the vehicle had not been licensed to me and needs a roadworthy test. While Nissan SA have asked me to keep all receipts of expenses I incur to sort the mess, it will mean taking time off to sort out something I paid for. To say this is *********** would suggest that the Guptas are ***********. This is ******** and an indication of the corporate greed that Steinhoff and Eskom are a great example of. MIOSA obviously took the side of the corporate without bothering to verify their claims and lies. I have all the communications with Nissan SA and Nissan Milnerton indicating my attempts to resolve the matter and these were shared with the *********** ombudsman and yet they didn’t bother to verify facts with me I have 2 weeks left before I am driving on the road *******ly because of *******ion and ***** by Nissan Milnerton and Leon Diedrichs
