Never got compensated (the courier company they sent my parcel with got hijacked)

I placed an online order with them on the 13th of may 2022, unfortunately the courier guys bakkie got hijacked,received an email that my parcel has be collected,out of shock as I was still on my way to collect the parcel I went to the courier guys offices that's where they told me that their bakkie was involved in a hijacking and unfortunately my parcel was also there and the case has been opened (case number is available),and I should contact the sender(Midrand Marabastad Trading) I did immediately the first reply was they will get back to me they asked for the tracking number,I sent it to them then they came with the story that "but it's says delivered" I showed them everything even the conversation I had on the courier guys WhatsApp line that really the bakkie got hijacked,but instead of getting assisted they said "they will show me ,they won't give me back my money" and that was it,R1210 went down the drain up until now
