Worst service received from a employee who processes electricity refunds at Midcity

on the 8th of July 2020 we had our electricity changed from old meters to new prepaid meters and when I moved in the apartment in Centurion Jean's place. I had paid a deposit to secure an account with Midcity. I was told that the electricity deposit would be paid back to me once they have reconciled the account for June-July 2020 then pay whatever is left once they have worked out my consumption. I have been following-up with the Midcity utilities department where they process refunds for old electricity meters for three weeks now and I'm not getting a clear straight forward answer of when the refund will be finalised. I spoke to a lady called Sharlene Snyders who apparently handles refunds and each time I call she requests my cellphone and tells me that she will follow-up then give me a call and to date that has no happened. This morning I called the department and explained that I wanted feedback on the refund as it has been long and immediately she said I must give her my cellphone and she will revert back to me and immediately said no as she has not given me a call ever since and because I gave her my contact details a few times already what happened, she immediately told me how she is offline and she can't help or unless I don't mind holding till their systems are back online, she was extremely rude and hung-up the phone on me while I was talking. I am a paying customer who was patient and all I needed was a refund due to me but for some reason I am seen as an inconvenience. I am truly disappointment that how can you have a person which such an attitude dealing with clients, I then called the call center and requested to talk to her manager whom I believe she is her manager who promised to check what was happening and she will come back to me and it's 2 hours later and I have not received any feedback. The service I got at Midcity is truly appalling.

Your complaint refers. We explained that billing for July consumption is now to be processed.  The risk deposit will be repaid after completion.

Who was this explained to and when? I now received an e-mail with a form to discontinue the electricity and this is not correct. I simply changed from Old meter system to Unipin still living in the same unit, this is just annoying. No one bothers to call me even though I have provided my contact details
