Second review - new development: vacated MidCity rental property De Boulevard Heights on June 19th having had provided them 30 days notice, early vacating even. They claimed that I didn't submit the notice, gave them proof no acknowledgement. 2 months later, I'm still waiting on my refund. Ria de Jager claims that in addition to the outgoing inspection I had conducted with Willem, the owner of the flat has to also do their own and give feedback on the maintenance report on her side - mind you this is done long after I've vacated. How am I to ascertain that they will not fabricate any faults to withhold my deposit. During this process no one even bothers to update me on this development, which was not even in the contract. I then did my own research, a tenant moved into the same apartment beginning of August, so clearly this is a blatant cover up. Bad bunch, perhaps even r***** to say the least based on my research. 2 people I know personally who were ****** their deposits.
