Midcity properties-Mazabuka building

<p>I have been a tenant at Mazabuka since 2013 July and I enjoy staying at Mazabuka because it is clean and secure. My problem started in 2016, in March i informed the caretaker that i was coming back with a car and i will need a parking, she told me not to worry as there was parking available. A week before i went home for EAster to fetch my car i informed the caretaker and she showed me where i should park my car. I come back with my car and i find someone parking at my space and the security had to inform the caretaker who then gave me another parking. I was still going to driving school by then so i was not the one driving, if i needed to go somewhere i would ask my cousin to come and drive me now durin that time i was told by the security that the caretaker said that the car is not mine but belonged to my bf, i let that slide. </p> <p> </p> <p>We are told that only one car per unit which has a car. My concern is that the caretaker does not have a car but she has a parking, our visitors are not allowed to park inside the building while the caretakers visitors park inside the building, that is not fair. There are certain units that have 2 people tanants with cars staying there and the two tenats will have 2 parkings ( what happened to one car per unit with a car?). ONly MAzabuka tenants are allowed to park in the building but there are about 4 people i have noticed over the years that do not stay at Mazabuka but park at Mazabuka during the day as they work at the building close to Mazabuka called Baupa naga. Some weekends my car is not there and we are told that no other car is allowed to park at your parking even if your car is not there, that is an unfair practice because the security and the caretaker know that our street is not safe and they break into cars outside. If i have a parking that i am paying for on a monthly basis, why cant another car park on my space if my car is not there? Since we dont have visitors parking, why cant we as tenants borrow each other parkings amongst ourselves since most people who stay at Mazabuka travel? The parking is empty most of the time. At least give us visitors parking, the caretaker always says there is no space but the secury always says there is a lot of space but the caretaker uses it for her people. I was very angry a few weeks ago when i had a visitor tnight and because my car was not there, i thought it would be safe for my visitor to park at my space but the caretakers husband shouted form the window for my visitor to remove the car. Why does the caretakers husband act as if he is the caretaker? I laid this complaint to Isabel who is the Mazabuka building manager at Midcity but she does not respond.</p> <p> </p> <p>Regards</p> <p>Evelyn</p> <p> </p>
