Deposit Refund
The worst property company I've ever signed up with. They are so quick to take your deposit but when it comes to paying it back you'll hear stories and it takes forever to be paid out. Their charges after moving out are ridiculous, from R3500 I'm only going to receive R300. I will never encourage anyone to sign up with them. Just know that if you pay for the deposit, you'll never get it back in full. And if you are already with Midcity make sure that when you move out, you are available for the inspection, if the guy does the inspection in your absence then he's going charge you for stupid things. I really regret choosing Midcity it is the WORST!!!

Thank you for the above-mentioned complaint. It is unfortunate that you were not present with the vacate inspection after receiving a phone call to remind you of the vacate inspection and the importance of being present.
A complete analysis was done with the occupation inspection and vacate inspection as well as all photos taken during these inspections and unfortunately the unit was left with various damages that needed to be repaired.
