deposit not paid back

on the 1st of July 2015 i moved to Mazabuka apartments 613 , i paid R6000 deposit . on the 7th of January 2016 i sent out a moving out notice . during the month of January i received emails and calls from Mid-city to confirm that i am moving out from the flat . on the 31st of January the caretaker came to my flat to tell me that today is my last day i need to move out , i told her that i will move out on the 1st of February she agreed that as long as i move out in the morning . on the 1st of February i moved out to my new place . on the 7th of February i received an sms from Midcity that my rental is due and i will be blacklisted , i phone them to advised them that i moved out , i cant pay rent for what am not using , they told me that they did not get a person to occupy my flat , i told them that it is not my problem since i was told to move out by caretaker , emails and calls to confirm my moving out . i was told that i will get back my deposit if i don't break anything in the flat , i did not break anything i left it in a same condition i got it , today is the 19th of March and i haven't received my deposit .
