DEPOSIT *****. I stayed at the Pretoria West, Bella Donna Flat, for about 4 years. During my stay, the tiles on the building (including my unit) were falling apart. This resulted in wall tiles falling from the wall and damaging the bathtub. I reported this to the caretaker, and they replaced the tiles but not the bathtub. I have since moved out and Midcity denied my deposit, claiming I damaged the bathtub. The owners challenged me to go report the matter to the rental tribunal, and that they will not pay a cent.
