Undelivered orders and refusal to comply with the Consumer Protection Act

I placed orders MICHSA16184 and MICHSA16185 on 23 September 2025 through michelle smit dot com, which in my view created a false impression that its products are local in South Africa. Delivery has not occurred. The supplier claims the courier could not deliver but has provided no proof of any delivery attempt and continues to ask me to pay R140 for redelivery and to engage the courier myself. Despite about 20 emails exchanged to date, the supplier has neither delivered the goods nor issued a refund. I have asked for a resolution in line with the South African Consumer Protection Act, which places responsibility for delivery on the supplier until acceptance, yet the supplier still makes this my problem. As of 28 October 2025, I remain out of pocket and am uncertain whether the situation is simply poor service or a ****.
