Staff at loading bay ultra lazy with attitude

I had recently discovered mega mica eastgate, and like the rewards program that they had. As before I used to buy at builder warehouse, cash build, and build it, which do not offer contractor price or any loyalty rewards.

We started buying from eastgate mica, all my experiences had been wonderful until last week monday the 19th of December 2017 when I took 12x 20L plaster primers for a refund, I left my truck by the loading/delivery bay for offloading and was told by the security that no one would help him offload. I left and went to buy more products and refunds. The refund process was quick and pleasant without delay, well done to mica for that!

After I had shopped for about an hour with the sales staff named Surprise, I went back to the truck to prepare it to load the new purchases. To my surprise , the 12x 20L primers are STILL on the truck, Surprise tried calling the men working there for help and no one responded, everyone just stood there. Eventually Surprise had to offload the primers HIMSELF.

When I gave the new receipt of purchases to the security, he asked the one man that too assist with timbers, the man picked up three timber and called me, and then looked at the timbers indicating that there were the timbers and I must go get it myself. I ignored him and went back to the store to shop for more items.

Another hour passed, I came back to the truck to check on the loading. The timbers were still on the floor and only Surprise and another man was trying to load. I asked the security how it can take 1 hour to offload and another hour to load? Security told me to call the manager as the men were refusing to work. I called the manager and only then people started to work.

A big compliment to Surprise for his dedication to customer service! It is because of people like him I would still come back to this store! He didnt mind loading for me when all the other men would rather stand and watch when his job was sales.

I am however quite disappointment at the lack of supervision at the loading bay, I was there for three hours in total which should of only be an hour at most. I hope there will be more supervision in future or this could seriously chase your customers away. Ive never experienced this before at Build It, Builder warehouse and Cash Build!
