Shamefull misleading advertising

I received a sms advert from Riverside Mica with a huge Ryobi sale.

I went there on Saturday to see what was on offer and bought a Tablesaw.

When I statred to assemble it I saw that part of the table saw was not in the box.

I went to Riverside Mica to enquire and the first sales agent I approced mentioned something about another complaint which already made me uneasy. The second sales agent that helped me whent to the store manager's office and came back saying that the will order the part, but I have to pay for it.
When I enquired about why I need to pay for it I was told that the stock sold was demo and repaired items.
No where in the sale advert nor at the sale was any notice given that this was the case.
I flatly refused for paying for the part and said I want to return the saw. The sales agent went back to the manager and came back saying that I now don't need to pay for the item, but it will take 3 days to get the part.
The manager did not even have the decency to speak to me in person which is very unprofessional and is a disgrace for a company like Mica.
This is false advertising and misleading the public on a large scale and can be seen as *****.

I will will think twice now about buying any Ryobi product and don't think I will return to a Mica hardware if this is the way they do business.

First I was phoned by someone from the store informing me that the part was on back order and that no eta coulbe provided.
The owner of the store did phone me later and a plan was made with the help of a Ryobi sales agent.
I did receive the part and the machine is now in working order.
I'm happy that the machine is now complete and the store owner did confirm that the full 12 month garuantee will be applicable on the machine.
Although it is a happy ending it is still concerning that products was sold on an "as is" basis without proper notification to the public of that. If nothing was missing on the machine and something happend a few months down the line I wonder if the garuantee would have been agreed to.
I do however feel greatfull for the fact the the Mica owner went out of his way to get the machine up and running in the shortest possible time.
