A word of warning about this hardware store. If you return an unused item (almost inevitable at any hardware store) they do not provide a full refund like other stores, but instead deduct 15% . This sharp business practise is app**** regardless of whether the item is returned unused, in its original wrapping, on the same day or even within a few hours. Should you happen to make an innocent mistake and get the colour, a length or size wrong, and need to return something you will not get all your money back. After a very unpleasant experience when I merely asked why 15% was being withheld for a brand new, unused appliance, I will not be returning ever again. Should you request a refund you are asked to complete a form requesting payment into your account, (this always dissuades people). On this form the handling fee % is left blank. It is then app**** and deducted after you have signed it and left. The faint till slips do state a handling fee of 15% 'may' be app**** but at this shop the wording should read 'will always' be app****, as they routinely generate a neat 15% on a non sale, the said item still in stock. Very clever.
