Payment of Provident fund benefits

A claim has been submitted in August 2014 for the payment of my benefits. Until today which is more than 6 months later, no payment has been received. Many calls have been made to the call centre, but no one can give me a estimate time of payment. Most of the time the people at the call centre are rude or you get cut of after holding on for more than 15 minutes.<br> Two weeks back I spoke to a person called Emanuel and he told me that he is handling my claim for the last couple of days and that the previous person who it was allocated to did not do anything with it. Then he said that it should be paid in about three weeks. Today I followed up again to make sure everything is still in line and the lady at the call centre(Gail) said that nothing is on the system that it will be paid out soon and no one can tell me how long it will take.<br> The funds there belong to me and no interest is earned on it for me since the date of resignation at the fund. In other words MIBFA are collecting the interest on my money. So the longer they take to pay the claim the more money they make. More than 6 months to handle a claim is ridiculous.
