late payment of benefits

Good day. I have a complaint about slow service of MIBFA. On their site they say payouts take 8 to 16 weeks. I submitted my claim in April almost six months ago and still no payout or even update of status. No correspondence whatsoever! What concerns me is that most people waiting for payouts have no means of income but debts that must be covered! I find this pathetic!
