Death Benifit payout

Good Day, My Husband passed away Sept 2018. I submitted all paper work to MIBFA in October 2018. Got my first feedback in January with more papers to be signed. Tax clearance was done on the 6th of Feb 2019. I was told that everything is in order and that the money are in line for payment to me and this was 5 weeks ago. I do get the same answer every week when i do a follow up. As a widower you do not claim the money for a spending spree. There is a whole salary missing from your diseased spouse and you are left with financial struggles. Why is it that if all is in order and the money must be paid out you must still wait another 6 to 12 months for payment to be released. There is no other number available and the people at the call center can not even give you a straight answer or a nearby payment date. Please I need help. I am on the brink of losing my job due to transport issues as I am traveling 114 kilos to and from work.
