Disappointing warranty service

My MG just had its first annual service done in April, a month later a water pipe by the washer bottle broke.

This vehicle is only 1 year old and MG Durban UMhlanga state that they cannot repair it under warranty.

How can a water pipe be damaged due to wear and tear within one year. This is very poor service.

I was sold the vehicle with a 7 year bumper to bumper warranty and yet a water pipe cannot be replaced
