Review - Disappointing experience

We had high hopes for Meulstroom Lodge as a wedding venue, but unfortunately, the experience was riddled with poor service and unprofessional execution. The printed programs looked like they were cut out by a toddler - uneven and very sloppy. We made welcome boxes and water for each guest, but half of them never received theirs. The brides bouquet was not what she asked for - a heartbreaking mistake on her big day. Juice meant for the reception tables was dumped in a corner and left there all nigjt. The canapes were presented in a very unprofessional manner - no care or fimesse. While getting ready, we had to keep asking for drinks we ordered and paid for, yet juice was delivered without issues. The rest of the flowers were spray-painted black and looked terrinle - not at all what was envisioned. The staff were rigid and unhelpful, showing little care for the details that make a wedding special. For a venue that claims to specialise in weddings, this was a huge let down. I would not recommend to anyone looking for a professional venue for their special day.
