No Staff at MetroRail Stations(Ticket Box)

On the train on my way to Cape Town, cops was throwing passengers out of first class because we didn't have tickets. There was no one at the ticket box and the lady working in the office at Nuguenot told everyone that we can go onto the train and pay when we get to the station. But then everybody was sent to 3rd class. One guy told the officers that he has lots of cash in him and he cannot afford to be ******. At the end, we were force over and I was extremely disappointed. Its metrorail had people working and doing there jobs this would not have been the case. I'm a frequent traveller to and from Paarl and Cape Town and this is not the first time this happened to me.
