No regards to commuters health and safety.

In February 2014 myself and other commuters got armed ****** to the Strand. Five guys boarded the train and strategically placed themselves in train. Myself and the other commuters were sitting when they jumped up and pulled out firearms. It happen so fast, one moment I was looking down the next I looked up with a gun ****ed in my face and the perpetrator demanding my phone. My phone being about 5 months old (Samsung Galaxy Note 2) at approx valued over R10 000 at the time. This happened between Woodstack and Saltriver station and when I wanted to get off at the station to find security none was in sight and I was informed by the police that the cameras were not working at the time. I formally submitted a claim to Prasa with all the correct paper work and I received a letter stating that they will be in contact within 6 months regarding the claim. This did not happen and I had to make numerous calls and send emails to get a response. It is now been a year and recently received a letter stating that I will not receive compensation for my lost. NO EXPLANATION WHY IT HAS BEEN DENIED. I purchase a monthly ticket of R471 Metroplus to travel safe and still find this unsafe.
