METROFAIL already cost me a job

What can I say about Metrofail, today alone (19 March 2015), I have seen people (women, children, the aged) beaten, battered and bruised from taking the train, since the start of 2015, the train has been on time for 15 days maximum. Today I saw someones grandma get shoved to the floor by other commuters trying to get on the train, she hit her face pretty badly on the concrete and no-one even cared, as they, like me, were rushing to get to work. I have lost a job already due to the train delays and even though I wake up an hour earlier, it makes no difference. I have seen small primary school children nearly trampled to death, pregnant women pushed and shoved like rag dolls, decent people getting into fist fights because of the lack of space and it seems as though the violence is escalating.

This is a major concern that needs to be addressed or else, like in many other parts of the western cape, the violence will escalate and Metrorail could be putting their staff in danger as people get frustrated and might take it out on the innocent ticket verifiers.

So PLEASE do something before any more people get hurt.

Jethro
