Metropolitan is heartless
The pain of losing a father and having yo deal with a heartless and inhumane insurance company such as Metropolitan I do not wish it to my worse enemy. After submitting my fathers claim for us to lay him in a dignified funeral at Metropolitan Vanderbjlpark no one in that branch even bothered themselves to call or email me that my claim has been denied, I had to call the call centre myself and the lady who was assisting me didn’t even care I had to just accept that my policy won’t be approved even though my dad died 2 days before the waiting period can be finished.I tried to ask her can I atleast speak to the claims manager so that they can maybe reason with me even if they don’t pay the full amount but the lady gave me a wrong number. How heartless can a funeral cover by Metropolitan be in times of death, how can you say you care for the people when it is strictly business to you, 2 days left and you can’t even try to negotiate the attitude the consultants give us in our time of grief is very sad, I find myself wishing to follow my father to his death the way I have been treated and I feel that you guys only care about your clients when the money is coming in. What happened to humanity in these companies what happened to caring about the people who just lost their loved ones, that branch in Vanderbijlpark doesn’t have decency to call me and tell me my claim has been denied because my father died two days before the cover can fully mature, am I wrong in asking to reason with management if they can’t come to an agreement with me, how am I going to bury my father? Hope all the stuff in Metropolitan funeral covers sleep well after getting their salary evey month before the sleepless nights you give us God will answer our cries aswell
