Managed care problems - spinal programme

I was registered on the spinal programme in June 2015. I am currently incapacitated from work and have been since February. Due to pregnancy, physiotherapy is the only treatment I have available to ease my constant pain, and medications are mostly off-limits.

My physiotherapy benefits were exhausted and we were advised to send a motivation from the physiothe****** for more sessions. Motivations were sent twice after that, and \updated care plans"were received on the 13th of August and 1st of October. My physiothe****** spoke to Polmed on a number of occasions"

Hello minamoo8855,

We confirm that both yourself and your service provider were contacted on 13 October 2015 where it was advised that the additional physiotherapy sessions have been approved. The service provider was also advised that we require a progress report for further benefit review.

An updated care plan and chronic medication authorisation letter was sent to you via email.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Kind regards
The Metropolitan Health Team
