I SHOULD HAVE RATHER DIED

On the 10th of April I was rushed through to the hospital as my appendix was bursting. Month end we realized that Polmed increased their membership contribution by 40%! That is pretty steep don't you think? I wish I got a 40% salary increase. Today I look at my claims and to my horror, Polmed short paid R11, 225.68! The Lab R101.30, my Surgeon R1, 172.09, the Anesthetist R4, 645.50 and the hospital R5, 306.79. I really wish I had rather died then coming home to this. It is really disgusting that you have a medical aid but cannot afford to have any medical conditions as they will leave you with having a mountain of debt. Shocking! All of the above give you 3 months to pay this off. Where must I get an extra R3, 741.89 per month from? So what is the other option? To borrow money from a bank and have to pay interest also. COPS SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO CHOOSE THEIR OWN SCHEME AS I AM SURE WE CAN GET BETTER SERVICE ELSEWHERE!
