Poor unacceptable service from MetroFibre

MetroFibre – Extremely Poor Service and No Support

I am extremely frustrated with the shocking level of service I have received from MetroFibre.

For three days I have been trying to get assistance for a network problem, and it has been completely impossible to reach anyone who can actually help. My calls go unanswered, and when I do get through I am simply transferred from one person to another with no resolution.

Most of the time I am redirected to an AI chat robot that cannot assist with my problem at all. This is unacceptable when customers are dealing with real technical issues that require human support.

I have spent more than four hours on hold, wasting my airtime waiting for someone to assist me. I was told that an IT technician would call me back after I logged a call, yet no one has contacted me.

This level of service is completely unacceptable. Customers should not have to beg for support while their network problems remain unresolved.

MetroFibre needs to explain:

- Why customers cannot reach proper support. - Why calls are not returned after a fault is logged. - Why customers are forced to deal with AI systems that cannot resolve technical issues.

I expect urgent assistance and a proper response. At this stage it feels like once you are a customer, you are simply ignored when problems occur.

Dear  TELANA DE WINNAAR

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.

We understand how frustrating it must be to experience network issues while also facing difficulty reaching the support you need. Spending extended time on hold, being transferred between agents, and not receiving a callback after logging a fault is understandably upsetting and not the level of service we aim to provide.

Your concerns regarding the availability of support, the callback that was expected, and the limitations experienced when interacting with automated systems have been noted. This feedback is important and is being reviewed to ensure that clients are able to reach the appropriate teams and receive timely assistance when technical issues occur.

Your case will be followed up with the relevant technical team to ensure the matter is addressed and that you receive the support required to resolve the network issue.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Your patience while this matter is being attended to is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Sibonisile
