Non existent service from Webafrica with Metrofiber as service provider

To Webafrica and Metrifibre Management,

I am lodging a formal complaint regarding the completely unacceptable service I have received from Webafrica.

I submitted multiple move-home requests on 13 November and 18 November, yet Webafrica that on-sell Metrofibre services only contacted me on 20 November to schedule the relocation for 15:00 today. Despite this confirmed appointment, no technician arrived, and I received no call, no email, and no proper update. The only communication was a vague SMS mentioning a delay, with no explanation and no contact number to follow up.

Adding to this, I have spent: • 59 minutes on a phone call to Webafrica, waiting for assistance that never came • Over two hours sending messages through my Webafrica account profile with zero response

For a long-standing client who relies on fibre to work, this level of service is not just disappointing—it is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

I am demanding the following immediate actions: 1. A clear explanation for the missed appointment and the ongoing delays 2. An urgent, confirmed relocation date and time within the next 24–48 hours 3. Direct contact details of a responsible person who will manage this issue properly

If Webafrica or Metrofibre cannot resolve this matter promptly and professionally, I will be forced to move my services to another provider without further notice.

I expect a rapid and serious response as Webafrica stated in various WhatsApp message to me the last hour that the fault lies with non communication from Metrofiber.

Good day, Webafrica requested that I send a copy of my rental contract, but they are not getting back to me at all. What do we do now as I need the fibre line to be able to word and as it is now 2 days income has been lost.

They stated that they logged a ticket with you on order number FTTX405454. I phoned your office today just to be told when on caller 2 in queue that Metrofiber is unable to take my call after holding on for more than 30 minutes.

Any feedback? The week is almost over and it seems that nothing is done regarding my complaint and issue of non-service.

A huge thank you to Shane that assisted me in sorting it out. Your service exceeds Webafrica services.
