MetroFibre Networx

THIS is disturbing indeed! I have been telephonically sourced by staff from MetroFibre and informed that installation costs for multiple user points in same property are free, irrespective of the number of user points installed. Not true. Also, I would have freedom of choice to use any of 40 different internet service providers whom would hire the lines from MetroFibre. On starting to investigate it seems incorrect and that MetroFibre bills the user directly and from above the concern that prices, once active, are raised at a whim! I also do not value any service provider that fails to respond to complaints/concerns raised in public in a secretive manner. Maintenance also seems to be inconsistent with long and repeated downtime The cost for internet is supposed to be going down but it seems this is escalating at will and without fear of competition. I, for one, am now very sceptical about permitting user points installed and feel that a ruse had been app**** in convincing me to agree to such. Based on the aforementioned I seriously contemplate refusing installation points. Further, I find it difficult to establish who owns MetroFibre and all the different company names that appear, is mind boggling! Why the price increases once the fibre line had been installed? When do you start billing and who is the actual service provider? Are your technicians doing maintenance properly trained? Why the repeated downtime? Why is there no stock to conduct repairs? Do you have a policy of providing credit for repeated and extended periods of downtime? I would appreciate MetroFibre divulging the status quo! I trust that MetroFibre will be able to find the correct department to respond to my concerns in this forum!
