METROFIBRE ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT USELESS.

Whilst I love the network from a technical aspect, as my Fibre never gives issues ... the same cannot be said for their accounting systems and support in that regard.... it is a total nightmare!!

Every single month the same issue - make payment and email POP to BOTH ftthpop@metrofibre AND ***

Mid month I receive an SMS telling me "your account is in arrears. Please pay and send POP"

I forward the POP again. Somewhere between 25th and 28th my service gets suspended.... then takes many calls, many emails, whatsapps containing the POP AND 3 DAYS to get service reinstated. (Just in time to start the process again)

Then I get told "we are missing your payment for September or October or November or whatever.

I then send another email with POP for every month from last 6 months ..... and still the nonsense continues!

My Customer Portal Profile has NEVER worked, from Day one. I can log in, but according to that there are no invoices and no statements "and no services on my profile"

I have sent so many emails in this regard and spoken to so many customer service agents I have lost count.

I often feel dealing with Home Affairs or Licensing Department is actually easier.

If this continues I will have no option but to submit complaint to the Ombudsman.

Thank you Metrofibre .... this is the fastest reply I have ever had - in fact, I have a long list of follow-up emails asking when I can expect replies to all my previous emails.
While I am at it, being generous, a shout out to one of your telephonic customer support ladies, Linda Ritcher, who was very helpful thos morning and quick on responses, but could do nothing beyond "escalating" my complaint.
That clearly never helped, so let me wait and see whether this reply from you actually achieves anything.

UPDATE
Service unsuspended ..... although, based on past 6 months, I expect the same runaround come second half of March.

Uo to Metrofibre to prove me wrong
