Metrofiber false coverage map

I app**** for fiber via Vodacom in January, on the coverage map it shows that my area is covered by Metrofiber, Vodacom confirmed this to be as well, after two days Vodacom sent the router, after a month with no communication I contacted Vodacom who advised me that Metrofiber says they don't have coverage in my area, which is strange, then why update the coverage map with false information.
