Metro fibre activation charges
I just had metro fibre activated in my flat. Unfortunately my lease has ended and im moving to another flat in same complex which has metro fibre already. I am being told i must pay R575 for activation. This is madness. I moved from Durban to jhb with mweb didn't have to pay anything they just activated my fibre once i moved in. Why does metro fibre charge activation fee everytime u move even though their lines are already active. Daylight *******

04 Jun 2024, 14:06This is absolute nonsense. There was no work done by your guys. All they did was plug in the white cord and call in for line to be activated. I received a bill now of 750.even when i first joined i was charged vat on top of an incorrect amount and was told when i enquired it would be credited to my account. I made a payment of 2117.42 in beginning of may on 31 may my account was debited with same amount. This is the worst experience i have had since moving from mweb i should have stayed with them. You better sort this out has caused my debit orders to bounce and incur fees.
