I’m begging you.

I got fibre installed by MetroFibre and it just doesn’t work. The wifi connects for about 30mins to an hour on a good day, then it disappears. I have to unplug it so many times in a day its actually driving me insane. I have tried to get ahold of their support team but they don’t pick up calls. Only when I select Sales do they pick up almost instantly. Sales team will then refer me to “technical support” which is basically their AI bot called Sue, I hate Sue because its a bot and can’t help me! After being on hold for a while they will ask you to press 2 to be called back - nobody calls back, ever. Right now I am trying for them to at least replace the Nokia router because even with a blue light it doesn’t connect. My neighbours are using MetroFibre and their lines are perfect - which is why I know my router has a problem. If anyone from MetroFibre sees this, please help! I have tried emailing and calling but the MetroFibre support line is non-existent. Please can you get me connected properly and not just for 30mins.

Dear Palesa

I understand how frustrating this situation has been, especially with an unstable connection and the difficulty reaching support.

Your fibre service should not be dropping after short periods, and what you’re experiencing is not acceptable for a stable MetroFibre installation. The pattern you’ve described—brief connectivity followed by complete loss, despite neighbours having stable service.

This has been escalated as a priority request for a full technical intervention, including a request to inspect and potentially replace the Nokia router and verify the line from the distribution point to your premises. Continuous rebooting and lack of meaningful support access have also been flagged, as this clearly falls short of expected service standards.

You will be updated as soon as a confirmed appointment and resolution plan is in place.

Kind regards,
