I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you are currently facing, and I understand the urgency of the situation. I appreciate your patience and would like to assure you that we are actively working to resolve the issue.
Upon investigation, it has come to our attention that the delay in activating your MetroFibre service is due to the existing service at your physical address still being active within its cancellation notice period. This has resulted in an overlap, and we understand the impact this is having on your connectivity and finances.
To expedite the resolution process, we have escalated the matter to our Key Accounts team, who are responsible for communicating directly with internet service providers on the MetroFibre infrastructure. They will work diligently to facilitate the termination of the previous fibre service as quickly as possible.
Please be assured that we are treating this matter with the utmost priority, and every effort is being made to ensure a swift resolution. Once the cancellation is confirmed, we will proceed with the activation of your MetroFibre service. I understand the critical nature of a reliable internet connection, especially for running businesses, and I sincerely apologize for any disruption this may have caused.
Furthermore, I want to clarify that your MetroFibre service will only commence the billing process once it has been successfully activated. We understand the financial impact of the current situation and are committed to resolving it promptly.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work towards a resolution.
Best Regards
Marilize
