Deadlines are a joke to Metrofibre, avoid them at all cost

You are the works fibre infrastructure provider in the whole of Africa. The only reason I gave you 1 star is cause the website does not allow you to give 0. I have complained here before about missed deadlines. And guess what. Its still; ongoing! This has been going on since September last year. All the areas around my part (that was started after my suburb) has gone live. But mine, the deadline just moves on. No one really cares. Metrofibre don't care, they get the money no matter what. Oct I was promised, and emails were send with the deadline as 30 November. Beginning of November I was promised 30th of November. Monday a technician tested the lines and confirmed to me that the 1st of December it'll be live. Guess what, this morning I got an email stating the 13th of December....and why, cause the company closes around that time, so they don't care if its done, no one will be able to get hold of them. They are ***********. If you see ads for Metrofibre bringing fibre to your area, go out of your way to complain and get their license revoked. You will not get fibre, just empty promises and a company that could not care less

Good day Izak,

Thank you for taking our call.

As discussed, please note that we have escalated the matter to our projects department to urgently advise as you have been waiting for connection since September last year.

We do understand that this is not acceptable as you were promised the area will go live today after waiting for some many months.

Please note that we will provide feedback as soon as we receive an update on the matter.

Kind Regards
MetroFibre

Nothing has changed, was promised Friday the 3rd, then Tuesday morning, and now its still not and its gone silent. If metro fibre comes to your area, run! They can't manage a project to save their lives
