Damaged paving and side walk during trenching

Hi Hope you can help me.

I stay at 9 Holly street, Die Heuwel x4, Witbank, 1034 Mpumalanga A contractor working for MetroFibre came to trench at my house. I asked the contractor to not lift my paving because I know that you will not be able to get the same paving bricks again. I know that there is a way to drill a hole under the paving and asked them to rather do that. They asked me if I have an extra paving brick for them as a sample to check with their supplier if they can make / source the same brick. They came back to me and said no problem this brick can be made by their supplier should they have to replace a broken ones. They broke a couple of paving bricks in the process and then disappeared. Drove passed them a while later and asked when they are going to fix my paving and the trench outside my yard. They made an appointment with me the next Saturday to fix it. NEVER SAW THEM AGAIN. They ****. I managed to get the number of a lady with the name Magda via Face Book. Send her a message via WhatsApp explaining the problem. She just ignored me. Have all the WhatsApp messages of the conversations I drove past one of your tech guys busy connecting fibre next to the road and stopped to ask him about my paving issues. He told me that he will het hold of the Project manager and that the Project Manager will come and see me at my house the next Day. A guy with the name Barry came to see me the next morning. (Seems to be the husband of Magda that ignored my WhatsApp) Barry said that he will arrange for the trench to be leveled with topsoil and he took photos of my pavement and said he will ask around and see where they can buy replacement bricks for my paving and that he will keep me informed. I had to contact him twice to get feedback just to hear that yes I was right the paving bricks cannot be found yet. They are still searching.

I am still waiting...

I am still paying for those broken bricks in my bond every month. I want it fixed. The people still did not come back to fill the trench with topsoil. Looks like you expect me now to pay someone else to fix your meIss. Can someone please get back to on the way forward. (Someone from MetroFibre please, not the contractor)

I send an email to *** log a complaint and received a reply that the matter will be forwarded to the correct department.

Someone from MetroFibre phoned me just to ask how I am experiencing the speed of the MetroFIbre network... Can you believe this...(I am not a customer yet) I explained everything to them and they say the will take note and forward to the correct department... Yeah right...i heard that before. Maybe that department should still be created.

This is pathetic. If this is how your service is before a service contract, imagine how poor its going to be when someone join your network?
