Mercedes Benz Malmesbury worst decision

i recently purchased a Mercedes Benz GLE400d with 18000km from Jacques Du Plessis from Mercedes Benz Malmesbury. Extremely disappointed with the purchase and the service I’ve received overall. Ive had nothing but continuous issues with the car with little to no after sale service. Always have been a BMW customer. Would never purchase a Mercedes again.

chain of events 1) Purchased the car end of January, vehicle was suppose to have 16000km,i received it with 18000km 2) On collection Tyre sensor monitor was on, wiper blades not functioning properly 3) panel on the inside of the door completely loose ( slight bump and it comes off) 4) While on a 400km trip for a funeral, i had a breakdown in a rural area between 7-8pm at night. Car was taken in to Pinetown Mercedes and i received my car back two weeks later with absolutely no report of what was wrong with the vehicle in the first place

To date i have done approximately 3000km’s with the vehicle and would not recommend anyone to purchase a Mercedes. Rather stick to a BMW.
