Port Request Declined
I am trying to port my number from Melon Mobile to MTN, however Melon Mobile keeps on declining my request to port to MTN.
MTN keeps on saying "Your port request has been declined, please contact your service provider".
Why is Melon Mobile declining my port request. It is surely ******* to do so.
Someone please help

On Friday, 14 November 2025, they kept on declining my port request. Today, 17 November 2025, my SMSs to MTN requesting to port are not going through to MTN because MTN is not responding at all.
I say that they are blocking my SMS's to MTN because on Friday, I would send a port request to MTN, and MTN would respond within 10 minutes. While today I have sent several SMSs to MTN, the first at 9:10, the 2nd sent at 10:50, 3rd at 10:51 and the 4th at 14:02. All of them have not been acknowledged by MTN meaning that the SMS's are not being delivered to MTN and being blocked by Melon.
Melon have not bothered to respond to the message that I sent on this platform on Friday, 14 November
