UNPROFESSIONAL AND BAD ATTITUDE

My lens popped out of my glasses. Due to the nature of the frames this tends to happen. Every optometrist has done an excellent job, no scratches post repair. The lens popped out again yesterday - I am in Cape Town at the moment so I went to Mellin Optometrists. When I received my glasses back they were so badly scratched - it looked like someone had taken scouring brush to the lens. I just called the Manageress who became quite defensive, and downright rude. I was so taken aback. Whilst they don't take responsibility there has to be a measure of professionalism and care with customers goods. And a better attitude would go a long way.
