I purchased glasses from Mellins last year August, I requested them to make a half debit of the quote from my medical aid and for the remainder to be paid by me in cash. I then paid the half there and then. Glasses took almost 3 months to arrive and only to discover 2 months later that they had debited the whole amount from my medical aid over and above the amount paid in cash. I called them out for medical aid ***** and dishonesty. They attended to “rectify” what they called an error. In January 2024 I received a call from head office about an outstanding balance from my account. Spoke to some rude consultant who made the whole problem my issue… secondly their fee on the glasses as per initial quote has increased from one thousand rand without communication. And to add the cherry on top, the lens have separated from the frame. I’m basically dealing with *****sters, unprofessional and poor quality service providers!!! Disgusting
