Mellins Menlyn Dissatisfaction

Have been to this branch numerous times and have spent a lot of money here, sunglasses, reading glasses etc. Have always had great service from one specific optometrist who is based here. As we live overseas, we made an appointment for my wife almost a month ago for today, 21 December, with said optometrist. We also adjusted our holiday plans to spend an extra day in Pretoria for this. This morning, around 3 hours before the appointment, we get informed that the optometrist we have the appointment with will not be available as she is attending a course. Seriously?! A course, 4 days before Christmas? Did anyone even bother to look at the appointments before scheduling this course? And you found out about this course on the day of the course? Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Did expect more of your Company. We were not offered another date, just told that there will beqa another optometrist. Well then, if all optometrists are the same I suppose we can then just move our business to another Company.
