Mellins i.Style Rustenburg gives prescription lenses that is to strong

October 2019 I visited Mellins I.Style in Rustenburg Waterfall mall to go for my annual eye test as I wear prescription glasses. There was also a frame I really love. My test was done and my spectacles was received hassle free. 2-3 Month with the new specs my eyes started to feel tired, red and even very sore at times after a full days work. One year have passed and I decided to get my eyes tested at my first optometrist for another time, because the condition of my eyes every day started to influence my work and becoming very uncomfortable. According to her my glasses was set to strong for the near vision. I spoken to some of my collogues who also did there spectacles at Mellins and got the same complaint from them. The near vision on their spectacles was set to high. The area of focus was set to small therefore letting your eyes work even harder if you need to move your head and focus on multiple places. I am very disappointed as I love my current frame and I paid a lot for the spectacles and I know I am not the only one. I hope Mellins Rustenburg will get there eye test machines checked out, because they are causing a lot of people a lot of money and discomfort.
